Neben Wein baue ich in meinem Garten auch etwas Gem\u00fcse an. Direkt neben den Reben gedeihen Speisek\u00fcrbisse. Sobald deren „Nabelschnur“ abgestorben ist, sind die farbigen Dinger reif zum Verzehr. Mit einem klassischen orangen (heisst glaub Hokkaido K\u00fcrbis) fing die Saison am Sonntag an. Am Tag meiner 2016er Traubenernte also. Ich verarbeite die K\u00fcrbisse gerne zu Suppe. Rezept hier<\/a>. Man kann aber zum Beispiel auch K\u00fcrbisnuggets machen.<\/p>\n

Der Wein dazu: Zur Suppe eher nichts zu schweres. Wieder mal ein Pinot Noir aus der Region. Dem Namen nach muss es in Weinfelden ja schon seit Jahrhunderten Wein geben. In letzter Zeit ist der Thurgauer Ort mit dem Ottoberg dank hervorragenden Winzern zur absoluten Spitze der Ostschweiz aufgestiegen. Letztes Jahr besuchte ich einige von ihnen. Unter anderem das Weingut Wolfer<\/a>. Das ist mir geblieben, weil mir Herr Wolfer sagte, dass er auch etwas Muscat Bleu anbaue und damit Grappa herstelle – meine Rebe! So kam jetzt die erste Flasche des einfachsten Wolfer Weines dran: Pinot Noir Classic. Sehr elegant und zart.<\/p>\n
